Make GIF from terminal in simple steps

Have you ever had a hassle to make a GIF? Or are you tired of trying diffrent software to make GIF. If then, I will show you how to make GIF using terminal on Ubuntu in easy two steps.

Step 1: Collect all the images that you want to make GIF.Make sure all of the images are of same size and same file type like *.png or *.jpg. For convenience, put all the images in one folder.

Step 2: Go to the folder where you placed all your images, right click on it and click on Open in terminal.

Step3: Type the following command in the terminal.

convert -delay 120 -loop 0 *.png linux.gif

In above command 120 is the frame delay time , *.png is the extension of the images and linux.gif is the converted gif file name.

See you can make the GIF is simple two steps and you don’t have to worry about trying any software.
